Students' Communication Report Data is saved and may be used to record and track non-discipline-related information. After teachers submit communication submissions to the office, office users can view a report of all communication submissions to date for a specific student or a group of students. Users can even email those same reports to families or print them for future reference needs!

To view a report on a student in jmc Office, go to Communication > Reports > Student.

Step One: Select a radio button from the "Select" box to identify which student communication report will be printed. Then, fill out the appropriate fields highlighted below.

  • By Sequential: enter a range of student IDs in the "From" and "To" fields

  • By Random: select one or more students by entering their name or student ID in the "Find" drop-down list

  • By Grade: enter a grade level range in the "From" and "To" drop-down lists

  • By Advisor: enter a range of advisor IDs in the "From" and "To" fields

Step Two: Place a checkmark in the "All Dates" checkbox to run a communication report for all communication entries for the selected students.

Helpful Tip: Only want to run a communication report for a specific date range? No problem! Enter the date the report should start and end in the "From" and "To" fields or simply click the calendar icon.

Step Three (Optional): Place a checkmark in the "Email If Possible" checkbox to attempt emailing the communication report to primary contacts of the selected students.

Helpful Tip: If choosing to also email the reports, enter an email address in the "Reply To Email" field allowing recipients to reply to the communication report email if needed.

Step Four: Click the "Preview" button to view the communication report before sending.

Step Five: Click the "Print" button to print the report or the "Export" button to export the report to a CSV file.
