Do you need to keep track of student attendance? With the "For Student(s) Period Attendance" report, you can easily check how many times a student has been marked tardy or absent for a specific class period. By selecting a grade range, date range, and reason(s), jmc will generate a list of students who are absent or tardy during the specified period, providing you with a quick overview of attendance issues.

In jmc Office, head to Period Attendance > Reports > For Student(s) to view a list of students along with any period they’ve been marked absent or tardy.

Step One: Select a radio button from the "Select" box to identify the students included in the report.

  • Sequential: the range of students by student IDs

  • Random: one or more students from the list of all students in your building

  • Grade: the grade range

  • Advisor: students by range of advisor numbers

Step Two: Select the range of attendance dates to be included in the report from the "Day From" and "Day To" boxes.

Helpful Tip: Only need to see absences and tardies for today? Simply select today's date in the "Day From" and "Day To" boxes to view attendance information for the day.

Step Three: Click the absence or tardy reason(s) from the "Reasons" box to include absences for a specific reason(s) in the report.

Helpful Tip: To select multiple reasons, hold down the Ctrl key (Windows) / Command key (Mac) while clicking a reason. Deselect a reason(s) from the list by holding down the Ctrl key (Windows) / Command key (Mac) while clicking a reason.

Step Four (optional): Place a checkmark in the "Show Period Comment" checkbox to include period comments entered for students on the Period Attendance > Data > Edit Attendance page.

Step Five (optional): Place a checkmark in the "Show General Comment" checkbox to include general comments entered for students on the Period Attendance > Data > Edit Attendance page.

Step Six: Click the "Preview" button to view the absence and tardy report using your specified criteria.

Step Seven: Click the "Print" button to print the report for the specified student(s) or click the "Export" button to export it to a CSV file.
