jmc Office has many attendance reports available for you pre-loaded and ready to run. One of these is the For Student(s) report which allows you to view and print absences and tardies over a date range for a specific student or multiple students. Let's take a look at selecting the report filter criteria.
To run this report log in to jmc Office and head to Period Attendance > Reports > For Student(s).
Step One: Select a radio button from the "Select" box to identify which student attendance reports you want to view. Options will vary depending upon which "Select" option you choose.
Sequential: specify the range of student IDs
Random: select one or more students from the list by clicking on them in the drop-down menu
Grade: specify the grade range
Advisor: specify the range of advisor numbers
Step Two: Select the range of attendance dates to be included in the report using the "Day From" and "Day To" boxes.
Step Three: Click the absence or tardy reasons to be included in the report in the "Reasons" box.
Fun Fact: By default, the report will include all reasons since commonly all reasons are considered for the report.
Helpful Tip: To select multiple reasons, hold down the Ctrl key (Windows) / Command key (Mac) while clicking a reason. Deselect a reason(s) from the list by holding down the Ctrl key (Windows) / Command key (Mac) while clicking a reason.
Step Four: Place a checkmark in the "Include Comments" checkbox to include any additional comments entered for students on Period Attendance > Data > Edit Attendance.
Step Five: Click the "Preview" button to view the absence and tardy report using your specified criteria.
Step Six: Click the "Print" button to print the report for the specified student(s) or click the "Export" button to export it to a CSV file.
