Health professionals can easily manage student immunization records in jmc by selecting vaccines from a predefined list and entering key details such as dosage, validity, and comments. This streamlined process supports compliance with state requirements and helps promote the health and safety of every student.
To edit a student’s immunization data, go to Health > Immunizations > Edit Student Immunizations.
Step One: Select the student to be edited by entering their name in the "Find" field.
Step Two: Click the "Add Row" link to enter a new immunization record for the selected student.
Step Three: Select the appropriate vaccine from the "Immunization" drop-down list to record that the student has received that immunization.
Step Four: Enter a date in the "Date" field or click the calendar icon to indicate when the immunization was administered.
Step Five (optional): Select the appropriate exemption status from the "Exemption" drop-down list if the student is exempt from receiving the vaccine.
Step Six: Select the appropriate amount from the "Dosage" drop-down list to indicate the level of vaccine the student received (e.g., full dose, double dose).
Step Seven (optional): Place a checkmark in the "Administered at School" checkbox to indicate the vaccine was given on-site at the school.
Helpful Tip: To mark an immunization as invalid for compliance purposes, remove the checkmark from the "Immunization is Valid" checkbox to indicate that the immunization does not meet state requirements.
