There are several predefined reasons to choose when a student visits the health office. Need to create your own reason for a health office visit? The visit log reason feature will allow you to add your own reason and maintain the ability to keep an accurate student health record.

Let's add or edit a user-defined visit log reason to keep a detailed record of a health office visit. Log in to jmc Office, and select Health > Visit Log > Visit Log Reasons to add your custom reason.

Step One: Click the “Add Record” link to add a new reason to the list or click the "Edit" link beside a reason to edit an existing user-defined reason.

Helpful Tip: Click the "Delete" link to delete an existing visit log reason you are no longer tracking.

Step Two: Enter the new Visit Log reason name in the "Name" field to add your reason to the list.

Step Three: Click the "Save" link to save your reason to the list or click the "Cancel" link to discard your changes.

Helpful Tip: Once you have defined a new reason, it will be available on any visit log page, such as Edit Student Visit Log or Visit Log Query to track the reason for the visit.

Step Four: Click the "Print" button to print a list of reasons for easy reference.
