Printing and emailing standards-based report cards is one of the final steps of the term and a great way to inform families of a student's academic progress. Now that the term has ended and teachers have submitted standards-based report cards to the office, simply select the appropriate term and group of students and wrap up the term by emailing report cards to students and primary contacts.

Head to Standards and Benchmarks > Reports > Print Standards and Benchmarks Report Cards to complete this final step of the term.

Step One: Select a term type from the "Term Type" drop-down list and specify a term by clicking the appropriate radio button to filter your report cards.

Step Two: Select a radio button from the "Select" box to narrow the range of student standards-based report to print. Then, fill out the appropriate fields highlighted below.

  • By Sequential: a range of students by jmc student ID number

  • By Random: individually selected students from a list of all active students.

  • By Grade: a range of grade levels, for example: From: 1 To: 3

  • By Advisor: a range of advisor by ID, for example: From: 1 To: 10

Step Three: Select a radio button from the "Form Size" box to identify the paper size that the standards-based report cards will be printed on.

  • Use Form Setting: prints the form on letter or legal-sized paper depending upon the form's setting

  • Letter: prints the form on letter-sized paper regardless of the form's setting

  • Legal: prints the form on legal-sized paper regardless of the form's setting

Step Four: Place a checkmark in the "Email if Possible" checkbox to email the report card to primary contacts.

Step Five (optional ): Enter the email message in the message box to display in the body of the email. For example: "Please see the attached form for 2nd quarter teacher changes."

Fun Fact: Add a little pizzazz to your message by inserting web links, changing font color, size, style, and more using the features provided in the formatting toolbar.

Step Six (optional): Place a checkmark in the "Email Student" checkbox to email the report card to the student.

Step Seven (optional): Enter an email address in the "Reply to Address" field to receive a reply to your email.

Step Eight (optional): Click a "Choose File" button to add a file from your computer as an email attachment.

Step Nine: Click the "Print" button to print and email the report cards or click the "Export" button to export the report cards to a CSV file.
