Schools often collect important permissions and preferences, such as "Can the school use your child's photo on social media?" or "Does your child have permission to take technology home?" This custom data can be easily reviewed, updated, or edited on the "Student Custom Data" page in jmc Office. Simply locate a student, modify responses as needed, and even print a list of questions and answers for future reference!

To get started, log in to jmc Office and go to Edit > Student Custom Data.

Step One: Enter a student's name in the "Find" field to view and edit custom field records for that student.

Helpful Tip: To quickly review records for a range of students, select a grade from the "Grade" drop-down list and click the left or right arrow to navigate through the students in the selected grade.

Step Two: Click the "Edit" link next to a custom data item and edit the response in the "Value" field to update the custom data record for the selected student.

Fun Fact: You can also review, edit, or update student custom data by heading over to the "Custom" tab on the "View Student Data" page, providing another easy way to access and manage student custom data.

Step Three: Click the "Update" link to save your changes or click the "Cancel" link to discard them.

Step Four: Click the "Print" button to print the custom data record for the selected student.

Fun Fact: Need to make changes to your list of custom data questions? Head to File > Define Custom Fields in jmc Office to review and edit your master list all in one place!
