Special Education History is the information entered into jmc Office and shared with the state for students that are receiving special education services. The "Import Special Education History" feature in jmc Office allows you to easily update special education history records for all students at one time to avoid creating records for all students individually at the start of the school year. Update special education records at the beginning of the school year to prepare for fall state reporting.

Head to the Nebraska > Special Education History > Import Special Education History from Prior Year page to update special education history records for all students.

Step One: Enter a date in the "Begin Date" field or simply click the calendar icon to set the date of the special education import.

Step Two: Click the “Import” button to import student special education records

into jmc Office from the prior school year.

Helpful Tip: Is the "Import" button disabled? Head to the File > Administrator Options page and place checkmarks in the "Enable Ed-Fi Interchanges" and "Enable Posting of Ed-Fi Special Education (SSEPA)" checkboxes to enable the import feature.
