Health professionals can save time by significantly reducing data entry with jmc's Wisconsin Immunization Registry (WIR) import! After registering with the Wisconsin Immunization Registry, users can quickly update students' health information in jmc by transferring information from WIR into jmc. Thanks to the Ed-Fi API, you can update individual students or entire grade level immunization records with just a few clicks!

In jmc Office, head to Health > Immunizations > Import WIR Immunizations via API.

Step One: Select the appropriate radio button to import immunizations for one of the following options:

  • Single student: select the student from the "Select a student" drop-down list to import immunization records for an individual

  • Grade level: select the appropriate grade level from the "Grade" drop-down list to import immunization records for an entire grade level

Step Two: Click the "Update" button to import and update immunization records from WIR into jmc Office for the selected student or grade level.

Helpful Tip: Head to Health > Immunizations > Edit Student Immunizations to review imported information for an individual student.

Step Three: Repeat the import as often as needed to update immunization records without creating duplicate records.

Fun Fact: After running the import, jmc will display a summary report including student names and a list of immunizations that were or were not imported so you know which student records need individual attention.

Step Four: Click the "Print Import Summary" button to save a PDF or print a copy of the Import record or click the "Cancel Import Summary" button to return to the previous page.
