If you’d like to make sure every family answers a specific Health Custom Field question, mark it as required. Doing so ensures a family cannot move past the question without answering it in the Online Family Registration process.

Health Custom Fields are edited in jmc Office at Health > Health Custom Fields > Define Health Fields. Let's see how to mark a field as required during registration.

Step One: Click the “Edit” link next to a Health Custom Field question you'd like to mark as required.

Step Two: Place a checkmark in the “Required” checkbox to ensure families answer this question during the Online Family Registration process.

Step Three: Click the “Update" link to save your changes and require families to answer the question.
