By editing pricing groups in jmc's Lunch module, you can easily customize pricing for breakfast, lunch, and a la carte items based on age, by grouping grade levels together. Simply select the desired grade level range for a specified pricing group, and students within that range will automatically have the pricing defined for that group applied to them.

In jmc Office at the district level, head to Lunch > Data Setup > Edit Pricing Groups to establish pricing groups for accurate meal and a la carte charges across all grade levels.

Step One: Click the "Edit" link in a new or existing row to edit the grade level range for the pricing group.

Fun Fact: Grade 0 subgroups (KG, KA, KB, KC, KD, EC, and HK) are listed separately to accommodate preschool and kindergarten groups with unique pricing.

Step Two: Select the minimum grade level from the "From Grade" drop-down list to establish the lowest age level of the selected pricing group.

Step Three: Select the maximum grade level from the "To Grade" drop-down list to establish the highest age level of the selected pricing group.

Step Four: Click the “Update” link to save the changes made to the pricing group or click the "Cancel" link to discard your changes.

Helpful Tip: Click the "Print" button to print a list of your pricing groups for future reference.

Fun Fact: The "Edit Pricing Groups" page in jmc Office includes an alert feature that ensures all grade levels are accounted for in the pricing group ranges, helping you identify any missing grade levels.
