Who wants that extra slice of pizza? Non-meal items you sell at the Point of Sale are found under a la cartes in the Lunch module.

At jmc an a la carte item is every breakfast or lunch item that is not a meal or milk. The jmc Office Lunch module lets you edit and update the price and name of those items for your pricing groups so students can purchase them at the point of sale.

Head to Lunch > Data Setup > Edit A La Carte Prices to get everything from pizza slices to cookies to yogurt added. The sky's the limit, just be sure you are logged into the district level to make edits.

Step One: Select which price group you'd like to view or edit from the "Price Groups" drop-down list.

Helpful Tip: If you don't see the pricing group you need, head to Lunch > Data Setup > Edit Pricing Groups to create one.

Step Two: Click the "Edit" link to edit the name or price of an a la Carte item.

Helpful Tip: Items will appear in the Point of Sale in the same order they are entered on this page. We recommend putting the most frequently purchased items near the top of the lists!

Step Three: Enter or edit the name of the a la carte food item in the appropriate field under the "Item Name" column to identify it at the Point of Sale.

Step Four: Enter the price the student will be charged at the Point of Sale in the appropriate field under the "Cost" column.

Step Five: Click the "Update" link to set the a la carte item name and price for your price group or click the "Cancel" link to discard your changes.

Step Six: Click the "Print" button to print a list of your a la carte items including their price.
