When your district is ready to start accepting credit card and ACH lunch deposits and fee payments from families through jmc's Online Payments module contact PaymentSpring, jmc's partner payment processor. PaymentSpring walks your district through the setup process, and jmc works with your district to decide what to charge your families for convenience fees and maximum deposit amounts.

Follow the steps below to be on your way to accepting online payments from families!

Step One: Go to https://paymentspring.com/partner/jmc-partner to fill out your district's information to begin the application process.

Fun Fact: You will receive a confirmation email from PaymentSpring in 3-5 business days acknowledging your application.

Step Two: Email jmc's Tech Support to begin setting up jmc's Online Payment module after your PaymentSpring application has been approved.

Helpful Tip: Be prepared to answer the following questions:

  1. Would you like to charge families a Convenience Fee to cover your Transaction
    Fees in Lunch? If yes, what is the flat dollar amount you'd like to charge?

  2. Would you like to charge families a Convenience Fee to cover your Transaction
    Fees in Tuition and Fees? If yes, what is the flat dollar amount or percentage you'd like to charge?

  3. What is the minimum deposit amount that you’d be willing to accept from families?
    Fun Fact: The lowest you can set is $5.00.

  4. What is the maximum deposit amount that you’d be willing to accept from families?
    Fun Fact: The highest you can set is $5000.00.

  5. When families pay for fees charged in the Tuition and Fees module, would you like them to pay towards a specific fee, or to pay towards the account balance?
    Helpful Tip: We recommend allowing families to pay towards a specific fee to allow for more detailed reporting.

  6. How many bank accounts would your district like, 1 or 2?
    Helpful Tip: The $300.00 listed on your Final Software Agreement includes two bank accounts.

  7. What are bank accounts for?
    Helpful Tip: Lunch, Tuition and Fees, specific Fees, or some combination.

Step Three: We'll take it from here and notify you when your account set up is complete and families can begin making payments in the Family portal or app.

Fun Fact: All financial transactions are processed by our partner PaymentSpring and right into your district's bank account, which means no waiting for funds to become available!

Step Four: Email the training team to coordinate your complimentary Online Payment 60-minute training session.
