With jmc, organizations such as National Honor Society, Student Council, or other youth groups can keep track of the service hours completed by their members by defining a service organization in jmc Office. Provide details including the name of the organization, the supervisor and a brief description to define your organization to list service opportunities and track completed hours for your group members.

Head to Service Hours > Define Organization to add a community service organization to jmc.

Step One: Click the "Add Organization" button to begin entering information for the service organization in jmc.

Step Two: Place a checkmark in the "jmc Activity" checkbox to select an activity from the drop-down list that has already been entered in the Activity module.

Step Three: Enter the appropriate information in the following fields to define your service organization:

  • Org Name: name of the organization

  • First Name: first name of the organization's supervisor

  • Last Name: last name of the organization's supervisor

  • Email: organization supervisor's email address

  • Phone Number: organization supervisor's phone number

  • Org Description: a brief description of the organization

  • Website: URL of the website associated with the organization

Step Four (optional): Place a checkmark in the "Background Check" checkbox if the service organization has been vetted.

Step Five: Click the "Update" button to save your service organization or click the "Cancel" button to discard your changes.
