NEW Filling the gaps

We know it happens — sometimes your patient forgets their sensor, leaving gaps in the load chart and disrupting the progression plan.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

With our latest update, OnTracx automatically fills in missing data through and STRAVA integration and smart estimation based on historic or load screening data.

  • Phone-free runs?

Strava GPS data is now added automatically, providing a complete route and detailed run statistics. Learn all about it in our dedicated article: How to set up STRAVA × OnTracx integration

  • Forgot the sensor?

No problem. Runs logged via Strava or entered manually are now linked to previous OnTracx data. Using biomechanical models, OnTracx intelligently estimates load values to maintain a continuous and accurate progression curve.

⚠️ Note: We can only estimate load reliably if we have sufficient reference data. Make sure to perform a few sessions with the OnTracx sensor first or perform a load screening with your expert — this allows the system to build a personalized biomechanical model for accurate estimation.

This update ensures:
Effortless remote follow-up – no more data gaps in your dashboard.
Consistent athlete monitoring – maintain a clear view of load evolution.
Better adherence to rehab/training plans – uninterrupted progress insights keep athletes motivated and engaged.

While estimated load values help keep the big picture intact, accurate load screenings and real sensor data remain the foundation for valid insights. The more reliable the input, the stronger the model and progression tracking.
