If you've been using TCWorkflow and are moving to Open To Close, you have the option to migrate the templates and settings into your new Open To Close account. This might not apply to you, so you can choose No if you don't have a TCWorkflow account.

Important:

If you select No for importing your TCWorkflow content, please know that importing from TCWorkflow cannot be done at a later time. The only way to migrate your TCWorkflow content would be to cancel your Open To Close account and start with a fresh account.

How to Migrate the TCWorkflow Contents Into Open To Close

Step 1:

From the onboarding screen, you will be asked to migrate your TCWorkflow account templates and settings into Open To Close.

Step 2:

Click Yes to import your TCWorkflow content.

Step 3:

You will be asked to enter your TCWorkflow API Key.

Step 4:

From your TCWorkflow account, click your profile icon. Look for the Open To Close link so you can copy the TCWorkflow API key.

Step 5:

Go back to your Open To Close account, and paste the TCWorkflow API Key into the box provided and click Submit.

Step 6:

After reading the content that will be imported into Open To Close, click Begin Import.

Step 7:

Installing all of the content should take anywhere from 2 to 15 minutes to complete.

Important:

While the system is attempting to load all your TCWorkflow content into your Open To Close account, do not close or reload the page.

Step 8:

Once the migration is complete, you will be notified that all your content has been successfully imported to Open To Close, and you may now close the window.

The following content will be migrated from your TCWorkflow account into Open To Close.

Custom Fields
Contacts
Contact Roles
Contact Groups
Contact Assistants
Contact Lead Sources
Contact Businesses
Task Templates (the task due date for the Parent-Child will not be migrated from TCWorkflow to Open To Close)
Date Templates
Email Templates
Text Templates
Document Checklist (only by the placeholders)
Email Signatures
File Roles

Important:

The Property Transactions will not be migrated from TCWorkflow to Open To Close. However, you can import your transactions via CSV by going to the New Import tab in the Templates menu.

We recommend cleaning your Email Templates once migrated to your Open To Close account to ensure that it will properly render everything when you send an email to anyone.
