Sending Text Messages Manually or Applying a Text Template
Follow along with this article to send or receive text messages, apply a text template, and view outbound messages.
Step 1:
From the transaction, go to the Texts tab.
Step 2:
Choose the number you want to send a text from.
Step 3:
Select which contact to send the text message to. They must have a valid phone number that can receive texts.
Step 4:
Type your message.
Step 5:
Or you can click the Apply Template button then select one of the available text templates, and click Apply.
Step 6:
Click Send.
Text Functionalities and Descriptions
Compose - create a text message.
Sent & Received - to view all text messages.
Scheduled - all the scheduled text messages are saved on this tab.
Send From & Use Property Default Texting Number - this means it has been transmitted as a text message from the “Sender” or by choosing the default texting number.
Contacts - recipient of your text message.
Message Box, Apply Template, and Merge Fields - the body of the text message and insert one of the merge fields into the body of the message.
Send and Apply Template - these are the buttons to send messages and apply a text template.
Manage Numbers - manage numbers are the list of active numbers from sending text messages and an option to search for available phone numbers by entering an area code or postal code.
IMPORTANT:
Group texting is not available. You can only send a text to one person at a time.
