I am getting a 400 invalid session error after connecting Instagram to Openstage.
This is likely caused by a Meta or Business Suite setting that is blocking all third-party integrations. Check your Meta settings or contact Meta support directly to resolve the block.
What type of Instagram account do I need?
You must use a Business account. Regular and Creator accounts do not support the Instagram Auto DM feature.

Do automated DMs work on stories?
Yes. Set your trigger to Comments on a post or story - comments left on stories register as fan comments and trigger the automation. You can trigger on any comment, or limit to comments containing a specific word or phrase.
Do automated DMs work on collaboration posts?
Yes, with one condition - you must be the original author of the post. Add a collaborator and they accept the request for the post to appear on both accounts' grids. Collaborative posts share the same comment feed, so any qualifying comment triggers the automation.
Troubleshooting tips
Make sure you have access to the Instagram account you want to connect to Openstage.
Log out of all other Instagram accounts before connecting, or use an incognito window to start a fresh session and avoid connecting the wrong account.
Be aware that interaction limiters set in Meta - including comment limiting - may affect automation deliverability.
