Here are some actions to try when troubleshooting your integration between Openstage and Instagram.
"I'm getting a '400' invalid session error after connecting Instagram to Openstage."
This is likely due to a Meta settings issue where ALL integrations are being blocked by Meta/Business suite settings.
Make sure you check your settings or talk to Meta support.
"What type of Instagram account do I need to use this feature?"
You MUST be using a Business account. If you are using a regular or Creator account, you won't be able to use the Instagram DM tool.

"Do automated DMs work on stories?"
Yes! Make sure to use comment on a post or story as your trigger. Comments on stories register as comments from a fan.
You can choose for any comment to trigger the automation, or a comment featuring a key word or phrase of your choice.
"Would a collaboration post work using this feature?"
Yes! You MUST be the original author of the content, though.
You can add a collaborator and they must accept the collaboration request in order for the post to appear on the grid of both accounts. Collaborative posts share the same comment feed.

Make sure you have access to the Instagram account you wish to connect to Openstage.
Log out of all Instagram accounts that could be connected by mistake OR use an incognito window so you're asked to log in to a new session.
Be aware that any interaction limiters on Meta may affect deliverability. This includes any comment limiting.
