Connecting the Shopify Storefront API lets you embed products directly on your Fan HQ via the Merch block.
⚪ Note: The Shopify Storefront API connection is separate from the Openstage Sync app. The Storefront API powers the Merch Store block on Fan HQ, while the Openstage Sync app handles fan and order data. See Connect Your Shopify Store for setup instructions for the Sync app.
Step 1: Create a Storefront API access token
Open your Shopify Admin.
Install the Headless channel from the Shopify App Store, then go to Sales channels > Headless.
Click Create storefront.
Under Manage API access, next to Storefront API, click Manage.
In the Credentials card, copy the Public access token.
Step 2: Connect your shop
In Openstage, enter your Shop URL - for example, your-store.myshopify.com.
Paste the Access token copied in Step 1.
If you share a Shopify store with other artists, enter your Vendor name - this filters products to those belonging to your artist only.
Click Connect store.
Step 3: Add a merch block in your Fan HQ
Once connected, add a Merch block to your Fan HQ to start displaying products.
