Within the Inbox, the letter icon upper right corner of all screens lives your Messages Inbox. From the Messages Inbox, you can view system-generated messages, Notifications, and create Message Blasts for your team members.

I will state right from the beginning that this section of the platform is going through some upgrades over the coming months and some of the Notifications are going to change.

Notifications are used to communicate activities that are happening in the platform in a real-time manner so end users can respond quickly. Notifications can cover a wide variety of subjects:

  • Updates to Tasks

  • Updates and comments on Completed Checklists

  • Late Checklists

  • Critical Violations

  • Completed Checklists

Messages allow the sender to send one-way email communications to their teams, like blasts. These communications cannot be responded to within the system and they are one way. The great thing about Message blasts is that you can send them to users in the system, but not every user has a corporate email address, so in a lot of cases, the OpsAnalitica User Accounts are your only record of your user's private email addresses.
