If you’re new to the concept of Liquid Staking, we recommend first going through this article to understand how it works.

Before we get into the steps, be aware there are 3 essentials required to stake USDC in the OVAULT Liquid Staking pool on Arbitrum.

  1. Completed KYC (Know Your Customer), or you won’t be able to start your staking journey. The below links will take you to step by step guides on how to go about this process.

  2. Hold USDC in your wallet on the Arbitrum network. OVAULT v2 operates on Arbitrum, not to be confused with the Ethereum main chain. If you want to learn more about the blockchains that Opulous is using, or how to get USDC on Arbitrum, check the links below.

  3. Hold Ethereum (ETH) in your wallet on the Arbitrum network to pay transaction fees. Arbitrum is layer 2 of Ethereum and uses ETH to pay for transactions. If you want to learn more about how to get ETH on Arbitrum, check the link below.

Step 1: Connect & KYC

Get started by heading over to OVAULT on the Opulous website

Next, ensure you are connected to the platform by clicking the Connect Wallet button and completing the instructions on the screen. Once connected, you have to complete KYC.

If you’re new and need to learn more about wallets, please check this article.

You can start the KYC process by clicking on Complete KYC.

Once you have completed that process, you are ready for the next steps.

STEP 2: Start Staking

Important: If you completed KYC but are a resident of a country that is not eligible for participation due to regulatory restrictions, you’ll see a notification in your user interface.

If you check the top of the interface, you will see your USDC balance and any stake you might already have in the pool.

You must insert the amount of USDC you want to commit to get started. This will show you how many OVAULT tokens you will receive in return. When you’re ready to proceed, click on Stake.

Remember to ensure you have USDC (for staking) and ETH (for gas) on Arbitrum and not by accident on Ethereum main chain or another L2 network that is not Arbitrum. Check again the links below for more information about this.

A notification will come to your preferred wallet application to verify and confirm this transaction. Follow the instructions on your respective wallet to complete the staking process.

STEP 3: Receive OVAULT Liquid Staking Tokens

Once the transactions are finalized, OVAULT tokens will appear in the wallet connected to the platform. If OVAULT isn't visible in your wallet, you must add the custom token to ensure the tokens display correctly.

The token address for OVAULT is: 0x6a214298e6F8605F6aB52913E4fC4A02Ce66D33A

Check out this article to learn how to add custom tokens to your wallet

Congratulations, you just staked USDC in OVAULT!

You will now have received your liquid staking tokens in your wallet.

The liquid staking pools work in staking and unstaking cycles. If you want to stake in a pool, you must wait for a new cycle and join the program.

You can find more information about the timeline of these cycles on the website or by following our social media updates on X, Telegram, and Medium.

If you prefer video instructions about going through the liquid staking, check the link here.
