What is Reward Bar?
The Reward bar feature helps increase sales by showing discounts based on the customer's cart value. It acts as a progress tracker, showing how close they are to unlocking a discount, encouraging them to add more items to their cart.
The rewards system must be corresponding to the automatic discounts created in your store’s Discount section. If you haven't created discounts yet, please click "Create Discount" inside the warning on the top of this feature page.
How to set it up?
Reward Settings
First, choose your desired setup for the reward.
Reward Template: Click on the Select Template button to select the type of reward that you want. The reward bar can be either displayed with icons representing each milestone, or without icons.
Reward Counting: Choose whether rewards are based on minimum total cart value or total quantity of items.
Ex: Customers buy a minimum of 2 products to get a free gift > Choose Total Quantity.
Customers reaches a milestone of $100 to get free shipping > Choose Total Value.
Advanced Settings:
Show rewards on empty cart: The reward bar is displayed even when there is no product added.
Allow customers to change added item quantities in their cart: Customers can change the quantity of free gifts that are added to cart through the bar.
Currency Converter on Reward Bars: If selling internationally, enable the Currency Converter to automatically update the rewards bar based on the customer's currency. This feature works only if Shopify Markets is enabled.
When activated, the app will utilize the customer's currency and the exchange rate from Shopify to automatically convert prices in the rewards bar.
This feature will only apply if your store has enabled multiple currencies through Shopify Markets
Add discount amount to rewards bar: Even when a product has a discount, the discounted amount is still counted as progress in the rewards bar.
Remove auto-added products when the cart value is lower than the Minimum amount: When the reward type is Product, a gift will be added automatically to the cart. If you tick on this option, the gift will disappear when customers decrease the cart value to below the minimum amount required to achieve the gift.
Create Reward Tiers
Click "Add New Tier" to set up reward levels. Each tier requires:
Reward Description: A short text displayed under the tier icon.
Minimum Amount: The required cart value to unlock this reward.
Text before completing this tier: A message displayed before the milestone is reached.
Show this tier to limited country only: Each reward tier can be set up to be displayed to specific countries.
The option to show tiers to limited countries are different to multiple reward bars. If you want to show different reward bars for each country, we recommend you create multiple carts.
Additionally, merchants can add/remove/move the tier using the buttons inside each tier
'Product' reward type includes 3 product boxes that allow you to select the products that will be automatically added to cart as free products when the cart value reaches the minimum amount of this tier.
In case you fill in more than 1 of the boxes, only the first product (in the first box) is free. The others will display the original prices and have to be removed manually by customers.
General Settings
Reward Color
You can adjust the appearance of the rewards bar by selecting colors for different elements, such as:
Background before/after reaching: background colors of the reward icons before/after they are reached.
Process before/after reaching: colors of the progress bar before/after reaching a tier.
Icon before/after reaching: colors of the stroke of the icons before/after reaching a tier.
Description before/after reaching: colors of the descriptions under each icon before/after reaching a tier.
Header Text before/after reaching: colors of Header Text before/after completing the whole rewards bar.
Text After Completing Full Rewards Bar
Text After Completing Full Rewards Bar: A text that will be displayed after customers achieve all of the reward tiers.
