Add a terms and conditions checkbox & require customers to agree to your policies before checkout. It can also be used as a text line.

What is Terms & Conditions?

Add a customizable checkbox to your cart or checkout page for various consent and policy confirmation. Additionally, this feature allows you to display a reminder text to inform customers of important updates or agreements before they complete their purchase.


Common use cases:

Example: Customer needs to agree with checkout rules, terms of use, shipping policy, payment terms, tax duties, the new Canada import tariff notice, refund policy, GDPR/CCPA compliance, and more before checkout. You can also use it for seasonal promotions or special events like Father’s Day, the 4th of July, and Summer Sale terms


Steps to set up a Cart Notes

Step 1:

Navigate to the Cart Editor, select the cart that you want to edit. Then select Terms & Conditions module in the feature menu.


Step 2:

Fill in the text that you want the customer to agree with. If you want to link the text with an URL, click on the attachment icon and fill in the link as well as the text.


Step 3:

Select related fields such as checkbox, required and set the color to match your store theme


Step 4:

Hit "Save" to save all the changes


Step 5:

Enable the module

If the button says Enable, it means that the module is not enabled yet. Click on it to activate the module.
