There are times when you may want to give additional users access to a shareholder. Some examples include:
a trust shareholder being managed by multiple trustees
a joint shareholder
a partnership shareholder
a company shareholder where more than one company representative needs visibility of the shareholding
To give extra users access to a shareholder visit your Shareholders page.
Check if the shareholder is already a registered Orchestra user (this is required before additional users can be added). Registered users have a person icon with a green tick.
Click on the 'Actions' icon (3 vertical dots) on the right for the shareholder you would like to manage user access for. Select 'Invite user' from the dropdown menu.
Type in the first name, last name and email address of the additional user that you would like to request to add to the shareholder. Click the 'Invite' button.
An email will be sent to the email address on the shareholder to approve the new user access.
The shareholder will need to login to Orchestra to approve the invite before the new user has access.
The additional user request is stored on the 'Invite user' form. You can click on the 'Invite user' button (person plus icon) to view it.
Additional users on a shareholder have their own Orchestra login to manage the shareholding. They will receive company communications and can access folders in the Document Vault that are shared with investors.
An alternative way to connect extra people to your company is to add them as an Associate (type = other) in the 'Convertibles' feature. Stakeholder charges apply.
If you are a company Administrator and would like to add extra users to a shareholder that does not have a registered Orchestra user yet, please contact us.
