Once a supplier has shipped, you get a shipment notification. Track and trace appears if the supplier provides a tracking URL (email and order page).
You always get the shipment email (subject: Shipment created for order #…). The email and your order page show track and trace with a link only when the supplier entered a tracking URL. Each shipment can have its own optional link.
