Unfortunately, we can't tell you how much solar energy you're using. The solar energy that your solar system generates goes directly to your house - all we can measure is how much solar energy you send back to the grid.

Here's how solar energy flows between the solar system, your property, and the electricity grid.

1. Your solar panels convert the sun's rays into electricity

2. Any solar-generated electricity you don't use is sent to the grid via your electricity meter. You get credits for this.

3. We know how much energy is sent to the grid because it passes through your meter. We don't know how much solar-generated electricity you've used because that doesn't pass through your meter

4. When your solar panels can't generate enough energy for your property, you need to buy energy from the grid.

To find out how much solar you're earning, just take a look at your Usage screen.
