Unmetered supply (UMS) energy consumption is based on calculation of wattage and hours of use, per device.

Your local network provider (or distributor) works with the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) to assess each device and unmetered load for this eligibility.

Each month your distributor will send us your usage and information about the device (it’s load and usage profile). We‘ll then calculate your usage and costs based on your device’s wattage and the hours it was supplied for, include any additional charges and issue a bill.

If you ever choose to change your device to one that is more energy efficient, be sure to let your distributor know first. Your distributor will reclassify the energy load of your device based on its consumption efficiency.
