If you prefer to pay your bill in instalments, you have a few options.

1. Pay instalments on your current bill up to the due date – this can be done in the app and online in My Account.

  • Head to Make a payment – you can make your first instalment and then continue to make payments up until your bill’s due date. You can find your bill’s due date on your Dashboard.

  • You can also pay in instalments via BPay or at a post office. Just make as many payments as you need using the customer reference number from your bill.

2. Request a payment extension of up to 2 weeks for your current bill – this can be done in the app and online in My Account.

  • You can choose to make payments in instalments (your first payment date needs to be between 2 and 5 weeks after the bill due date).

  • For step-by-step instructions, see Get a payment extension. If you can't see a 'request an extension' link on your dashboard, just contact us and we'll help.

3. Set up a payment plan with regular weekly, fortnightly or monthly payments – for the moment, you'll need to contact us to do this.

  • A payment plan makes it easier for you to know how much you're going to pay, and when. We look at your past and predicted future usage to estimate your energy costs for the next year. We can then even out your payments to suit the frequency you choose.

  • Give us a call and we'll step you through the set-up.
