Short answer

There are a couple of ways to set up ongoing payments. This article explains how to:

  1. set up a direct debit to automatically pay your bills when due

  2. set up a payment plan to pay smaller amounts more frequently, to average out your energy bill payments

What you can do

Set up a direct debit

  • Electricity, natural gas, and centralised hot water and electricity: Set up direct debit in My Account or the Origin app to automatically pay your bill when it's due

  • All other account types: Contact us and we'll help you set it up

Note: If you want to pay by direct debit for more than one account, you'll need to set it up on each account.
