View past bills and payments

View electricity, natural gas, internet and LPG bills and payments in My Account or the Origin app.

Short answer

You can view past bills and payments in My Account or the Origin app. And if you’ve got electricity, natural gas or embedded services (like centralised hot water and electricity) with us, you’ll also see a running list of your transactions – a bit like what you'll see on a bank statement.

What you can do

Electricity, natural gas and embedded services

View all transactions

  1. From your dashboard in My Account or the Origin app, select the Bills & payments link for the account you’d like to view

  2. In the Activity section of the Bills and payments screen, you’ll see a running list of all your transactions – newest to oldest. This includes bills, upcoming payments, successful and failed payments, credits, rebates and transfers. Transactions with a plus sign (+) are credits and other amounts shown are amounts owing. Here’s an example

View and open past bills

  1. From your dashboard in My Account or the Origin app, select the Bills & payments link for the account you’d like to view

  2. In the Activity section of the Bills and payments screen, select the Bills filter to see only bills and filter out any payments​

  3. To view your actual bill, tap the PDF icon next to the bill you’d like to see

View payments

From your dashboard in My Account or the Origin app, select the Bills & payments link for the account you’d like to view

  1. In the Activity section of the Bills and payments screen, select the Payments filter to see only payments and account credits (like rebates and transfers) and filter out bills. Here’s an example that shows you payments made through BPAY® plus a credit transfer from another account

    If there’s an upcoming payment, you’ll also see it as ‘Upcoming’ under the Payments tab

    And if a payment fails, this will show as ‘Failed’ (we’ll also let you know).​

Internet

  1. From your dashboard in My Account or the Origin app, scroll to the Internet tile then select Manage my Internet

  2. Select Billing to view your bills

  3. Tap the PDF icon next to the bill you’d like to view, to see charges, credits and any payments you’ve made

LPG

  1. From your dashboard in My Account or the Origin app, view the Bills & payments link for the account you’d like to view

  2. Select the Bills tab or the Payments tab to see past bills and payments you've made

  3. To view your actual bill, in the Bills tab select the PDF icon next to the you’d like to see

Frequently asked questions

How do I get a statement?

Contact us by email and include the account number for the statement and the date range you’d like it to cover.

I can't see a bill I'm sure I got – why’s that?

If you've seen a bill before and can't see it in your list of bills in My Account, there's a chance we might be reversing it because it wasn’t right. If that's the case, we generally send a new, updated bill within 2–3 business days. Contact us if you need a hand.

Where's my bill?

If it's been a while since you got a bill from us, we may have blocked your bill to resolve something. Find out more about blocked bills and why they occur.
