12-month benefit period

A benefit period is the length of time your plan’s benefits apply for.

Many of our plans specify either a 12 or 24 month benefit period. The benefits can be discounts on your usage or supply charges, or a higher feed-in tariff rate.

You can renew your plan before your benefit period ends. If you haven’t renewed or moved onto a new plan, you will by default, roll over onto the Origin Basic plan – we will make sure to let you know well before this happens. None of our residential plans have lock-in contracts – you can change or renew at anytime.
