How to read your internet bill

Understand the elements on your home broadband bill, for all our nbn® and Opticomm fibre internet plans.

Summary

  • Understand the elements on your home internet bill for all our internet plans.

  • Find all the details of your internet account charges, payment details and due dates.

If your account starts with OE, please refer to Bill 1. Otherwise, refer to Bill 2.

1. Amount Due – this is how much you need to pay (incl GST).

2. Due Date – this is the day your account will be debited for the amount on your bill.

3. Account Details – including your account number, the tax invoice number, the date this bill was issued and your payment method.

4. Account Summary – details of your past and present balance and payments, including:

  • Invoice Breakdown: Your total charges for this billing period plus any outstanding payments owed.

  • Last Month: Shows your billing history for your previous bills.

  • Recent Invoices: Shows your most recent previous invoices and how much you were charged.

5. How to pay your account – paying by direct debit is mandatory for our internet plans. This section shows when the total amount will be debited from your account.

6. Need to get in touch? This is where you'll find our contact details, including email and phone.

7. Payments and adjustments – a summary of payments and credits applied from any promotional offers and discounts; all of these include GST.

8. New charges – any new charges related to your plan/s that will be shown here. These charges will be direct debited when your bill is due. If you have multiple addresses and plans, they will all be listed here. You'll also find the name of your plan and your AVC ID.
