We offer:
ongoing energy use payment plans, which cover the cost of your predicted, ongoing energy usage in weekly, fortnightly or monthly instalments
debt and ongoing energy usage payment plans, which combine existing debt and predicted, ongoing energy usage into smaller, more frequent payments, spread out over up to 24 months
short-term, debt-only payment plans, which allow you to pay off debt in smaller, regular payments, generally before your next bill

Why take up an ongoing energy use payment plan? Energy bills can fluctuate throughout the seasons, and an ongoing energy use payment plan can average out the cost over a year.
How it works. We look at your past and predicted usage to estimate your total energy costs for the next year. We then average out your payments over the frequency you prefer – weekly, fortnightly, or monthly.
We monitor the payment amounts. We check in regularly and adjust payments if needed to match your usage. We'll let you know in advance if your payment amount needs to change. Sometimes you'll have used:
less energy than you paid for. In this case your account will show a credit, which will be there for those seasons where you use more energy.
more energy than you paid for. In this case, your account will show a debt. This may balance out during the seasons where you use less energy.

Short-term, debt-only payment plans
Short-term, debt-only payment plans
Why take up a short-term, debt-only payment plan? If you have debt, you might find it easier to pay it off in smaller, regular payments before we issue your next bill. You might also request a short-term, debt-only plan if you’ve closed your account and there’s an amount outstanding.
How it works. When you talk to us about a debt-only payment plan, we’ll discuss how to roll your outstanding debt into a short-term payment plan, including how often you’d like to pay.
If you have an active account, you’ll need to pay the debt off before we issue your next bill. If your account is closed, we’ll agree with you on the length of the payment plan.

We regularly review ongoing energy use payment plans (with or without debt) and adjust them if needed to match your usage. We'll let you know in advance if your payment amount needs to change.
Ongoing energy use payment plans may change but they don’t expire
We don’t review or adjust debt-only plans, but please contact us if you would like to discuss your plan We don’t review or adjust debt-only plans., but please contact us if you’d like to make changes to your plan, contact us
We’ll still send you your bills so you can see the amounts charged and payments made through your payment plan for the billing period
If you miss a payment, we'll send a reminder to let you know you need to pay the missed instalment before the next one is due. We may cancel your payment plan if you continue to miss payments.
