Short answer
If you paid a bill that was also paid by direct debit, your account may be in credit. When that happens, it's easy to get a refund or transfer your credit to another Origin account.
How you go about that depends on the type of account you have. See Ask for a refund or transfer a credit for instructions.
Important notes
- A payment outside direct debit can take around three business days to get to us. If there's no credit on your account, wait for three days and check it again. 
- If your account had other amounts outstanding, the extra payment you made will go towards your existing debt 
- If you don't see a credit balance in My Account and you think you should, contact us
