Summary
Manage your electricity and natural gas accounts through My Account or the Origin app.
You’ll see information about current usage and energy plan(s) and have the freedom to manage a number of tasks – like changing energy plans, paying bills, setting up payment plans and direct debit, updating your details and more.

Get started
Register for My Account then log in. You might also like to download the Origin app.
Billing and payments
Set up and make payments (incl. direct debit and payment plans)
Make a payment: Dashboard > Make a payment link
Set up or change payment, incl. direct debit: Dashboard > Bills & payments link > Payment settings link > (Payment method) Edit link
Update payment method (debit/credit card/bank account): Dashboard > Bills & payments link > Payment settings link > (Payment method) Edit link
Cancel direct debit (if no debt on account): Dashboard > Bills & payments link > Payment settings link> (Payment method) Edit link > Pay when due

*If you’re transferring to another energy provider, you don’t need to disconnect your property. Instead, they’ll let us know when you’ve moved across then we’ll send you your final bill.

Get a payment extension
If your bill is due soon or not more than two weeks past the due date, you'll see a payment extension link on the dashboard. If you meet this condition, see our Get a payment extension article for instructions.

You can log in to My Account with a password. To do so:
On the My Account log in page enter your email address or mobile number linked to your account and click on ‘Verify account’.
Choose the ‘Password’ option, then click ‘Continue’.
Enter email address linked to your account and enter the password.
Click ‘Continue’ to log in.

Log in with email or SMS one-time code (passwordless log in)
Log in with email or SMS one-time code (passwordless log in)
You can log in to My Account without a password. To do so:
On the My Account log in page enter your email address or mobile number linked to your account and click on ‘Verify account’.
Choose the email or SMS option, depending on the details you entered in the previous step, then click ‘Continue’.
We'll send a code to either your email address or mobile, depending which method you chose.
Enter the code and you’ll be logged in.
Can't access My Account with the one-time code?
Make sure you use the link within 10 minutes from when you requested it.
Use the link only once.
Not getting the link?
Check if your email address/phone number is correct. You need to use email address/phone number linked to your Origin account.
Check your junk mail, 'Other' or 'Promotions' tab.
Check if your inbox is full. If it is full, you may not be able to receive emails/SMS.
If none of these are the issue you can request a new code by clicking ‘Resend code via [email/SMS]' or try a different log in method.
