Understanding Charges on Your Statement

Why an unfamiliar Orion charge is usually a Shop Pay or Affirm installment rather than a subscription.

I see a charge from Orion I do not recognize

If it is a small recurring amount, it is most likely an installment payment rather than a subscription.

A $17.50 charge is half of a $35 Sleep Test paid through Shop Pay Installments, split into two payments. It is not a subscription and it will not continue past the second payment.

Installments are billed by Affirm. On your statement they may appear as SP+AFF with Orion in the description, because the original purchase was with us even though Affirm collects the payments.

Why does Orion not see the charge?

Installment payments are collected by Affirm rather than by us, so they do not appear in our billing records. Send a screenshot of the charge from your statement and we can identify it.

I financed through HFD and it looks like two charges

Your HFD plan includes two years of Orion Intelligence, prepaid. There is no separate subscription charge and nothing auto-renews. You will receive an activation code by email to enter in the app.

Am I being billed for something I did not sign up for?

Orion Intelligence is our only subscription. If you bought a Sleep Test on its own, you have no recurring Orion charges.

For what Orion Intelligence costs and how to manage it, see Orion Subscription.

Contact Orion Support with the amount, the date, and a screenshot of how the charge appears on your statement. That is what lets us tell an installment apart from a subscription.
