It is Monday. You have four tabs open and none of them is telling you what to actually do. Ask one question instead and get the week across every platform you are running.
Anyone with access to the workspace can do this. You do not need editing rights.
The Monday question
"How did last week go? What moved, what worked, what didn't?"
Back comes:
A one-line summary of the week, written across all your platforms rather than one at a time
Your main numbers and how they moved compared to the week before
What went well and what went badly, each attached to the campaign it belongs to
What to do about it, with the reasoning
It covers the last full week. Ask for specific dates if you want a different one.
The useful part is the next question
The summary is where you start. What makes it worth the minute is what you ask next.
"Show me why you're recommending that."
"What happens if I leave it? Put a number on it."
"Alright, do it."
By the third question you have seen the evidence and what it costs to wait, so you are agreeing to something rather than just clicking yes. Any actual change still gets shown to you before it happens.
When you need something to send
The summary is a conversation. When you need a document to forward to a client or a boss, ask for one of the four report templates instead. They are covered in reporting and dashboards, along with how to ask for any breakdown a template does not cover.
The one most people want from here:
"Build me a one-page weekly report I can send to my client, with the numbers, what changed, and what we're doing about it."
Doing the same review every week
Most teams have a weekly review in theory. It slips exactly when things get busy, which is when it would have caught something. Five questions, same order:
"How did last week go?"
"Are we on track for the monthly budget? Which campaigns are maxing out?" See pacing.
"Are any of my Meta ads getting tired?" See creative.
"Which landing pages took budget and didn't convert?" See ROAS and funnel.
"What changed in the account this week, and who changed it?"
No single answer is the point. The point is that asking the same thing every week makes the differences obvious.
Orphex does not run this for you or email it to you. There is no Monday morning job. You ask, it answers.
If you look after several accounts
"Give me last week for every workspace I have access to, a paragraph each."
Each workspace gets its own paragraph, and the quiet ones say they were quiet rather than padding it out. Then ask which one is doing worst, and switch to it.
Why it stops at yesterday
The ad platforms keep reporting for a while after the day ends, so today's numbers are incomplete. Rather than give you half a figure, it stops at yesterday and tells you that is what it did.
If you need a number straight from Google or Meta for a period that has closed, ask and it goes and gets it.
What this does not do
Orphex does not send you the summary on a schedule. You ask for it.
Orphex does not include today.
Orphex does not predict where the month lands unless a target is set for the workspace.
Orphex does not cover a platform you have not connected, and it tells you which ones it left out.
When something looks wrong
What you see | Why | What to do |
A platform is missing | It is not connected to that workspace | Connect it in Orphex and ask again |
Wrong week | It defaults to the last full week | Say which dates you want |
Wrong workspace | You did not say which one, so it used your main one | Name the workspace, or switch to it first |
No month-end prediction | No target is set for that workspace | Set one, or ask how you are doing against your own recent pace instead |
Common questions
Will it email me this every Monday?
No. You ask for it.
Can I get it as a document to send on?
Yes. Ask for the weekly report or the monthly summary.
Does it include today?
No, because today's numbers are not final yet.
Can I get all my clients in one go?
Yes. Ask for every workspace you have access to, a paragraph each.
