The stations consist of three parts: a pillar, a row of locks in varying lengths, and one or more advertising displays. The pillar is 3 meters tall and houses the electronics. The station is mounted on steel or concrete foundations, which are either buried in the ground or anchored directly to the surface, where possible. The area around the stations is either asphalted or reinforced with grass grids.

The row of locks comes in modules slightly over 2 meters long, with either three or five locks, depending on whether the station is single- or double-sided. Some stations have nine locks, while others have over 50, depending on the available space and local demand.

The advertising display measures 195 by 133 cm and is internally lit. The advertising posters are regularly replaced by Clear Channel Norway. A station with two advertising displays consumes approximately 3,700 kWh per year.
