Measuring the Belt Size

01. Introduction

Accurate assessment starts with the right hardware fit — getting this step right is the most important thing you do before a patient starts using OTO Fertility.

The OTO assessment is high-precision, and chest-strap ECG electrode placement is the key to accuracy. OTO provides 6 different strap sizes to choose from.

02. Chest Strap Structure

The two ECG electrodes are placed directly on the skin, at the front of the chest, with nothing worn over them. If you cannot find your size, please contact us at support@oto.coach

03. Where to measure

Important: From V6 to V6 — the mid-axillary line, both sides, measured straight across the front of the chest.

Correct positioning:

- ✅ Standing: Tape sits on the bust line, right where the strap will ride.

- ✅ Supine (lying down): Flat surface; tape level with V6 on each side.

- ✅ Arm raised: This is an acceptable measuring position.

- ❌ Too low: If the tape sits below the bust or on the belly, the strap won’t actually sit there during use — this measurement will be inaccurate.
