Push notifications will be sent to users' devices if they have push notifications turned on for the OTTO Sport Mobile App and they have logged into the app at least once.
The following actions will cause push notifications to be sent:
Event Notifications for Seasonal Teams
If a new game event has been created
If new game events are imported*
If imported game events* have the date, time, or location modified
If a future game has been removed/deleted by an administration*
If a game event has the date, time, location, opposing team, arrival time, uniform, or team note modified **
If a game status is modified to/from active, postponed, or canceled **
If game scores are updated during play and the “Auto-post score updates" is set to ON
If a training event is created (single event or series)
If a training event has the date, time, or location modified **
If a training event is canceled
If a training status is modified to/from active, postponed, or canceled **
If training or game schedule visibility has been enabled
If a basic event is created
If a basic event is modified
If a basic event is removed
If the 24-hour reminder option is on for events
If a basic event status is modified to/from active, postponed, or canceled
If the surface has been closed within a date/time range that impacts current events (games and training events only)
If the surface has been reopened within a date/time range that impacts current events (games and training events only)
* Events imported or modified in the Scheduling Elements Product will not trigger Push Notifications. Only events imported directly into the latest version of the OTTO Sport Scheduling Product will trigger a push notification.
** Email messages are also sent to team members.
Message Notifications
If a message is sent by the Club Admin to the Team Wall or Staff Wall
If a message is sent by a Team Member or Coach to the Team Wall or Staff Wall
If a message is sent to one or a small group of Team Members
If a message is sent in the Live Chat
