ViCoverage Info for End Users

What is ViCoverage?

Demosphere is partnering with Vertical Insure to protect your registration revenue and help your athletes plan for the unexpected. Through this collaboration, we offer new insurance products that can be selected as add-ons during the registration process.

How it Works

During the Checkout step in public registration (for organizations with the feature enabled), registrants will be presented with policy options after selecting Pay in Full or Pay in Installments.

Note: Policy options are dependent on the registrant's address.

Coverage details are presented depending on the option selected by the registrant. If coverage is selected, upon submitting the order, two separate charges are processed:

  • The registration fees are processed by Demosphere.

  • The insurance coverage is processed by Vertical Insure.

After Checkout

Once the registration has been completed, the Order Confirmation step will display the returned status from Vertical Insure, ensuring full transparency. This status will also appear in the confirmation email sent to the registrant.

Note: The ViCoverage payments will not be processed if the order payment fails. If the order payment passes, but the ViCoverage payments fail (i.e., insufficient funds), the cardholder will get an email directly from Vertical Insure and can complete their policy directly with Vertical Insure.
