Organizational Admins now have enhanced controls for managing referee visibility for Team Staff and Admins. Settings allow them to configure the display of referee names, roles, and contact information for games on Team Pages through the Game Report and on the Mobile App. Follow the steps below to enable referee information to be displayed to your members:
Configuring Referee Information Visibility
1. From the navigation, select Programs, then choose your program and season. Next, select Schedules and click on the edit button at the season level.
2. Select Permissions and locate the toggle labeled "Allow Game Schedules to be accessible for Referee Assigning" and switch this to ON. The default for this permission is OFF.
3. When the "Allow Game Schedules to be accessible for Referee Assigning" toggle is ON, a toggle will then display with the option to “Show Referee Names & Roles” ON/OFF. When set to ON, referees' names and assignment roles will be visible to administrators and team staff on the Game Report located on the Team Page. The default for this permission is OFF.
4. When the "Show Referee Names & Roles" toggle is ON, an additional toggle will appear to "Show Referee Contact Info” ON/OFF. When set to ON, referees' contact information (email address and phone number) will also be visible to administrators and team staff on the Game Report located on the Team Page. The default for this permission is OFF.
4. Once complete, click Save.
Viewing Referee Information in Game Reports
When the "Show Referee Names & Roles" configuration is enabled, referees’ information will be displayed on the Game Report. To view the Game Report, navigate to the Team’s Page, select the Reports tab, then from the Report menu, choose Game Reports. Referee names and roles, along with contact information, will be displayed if that configuration has been enabled.
Viewing Referee Information on the Mobile App
When the settings outlined above have been enabled, Referee Information can be viewed on the Team Events view under the INFO tab in the mobile app. If contact information has also been enabled, users can tap on the envelope icon to view the referee's email address or the phone icon to view the referee's phone number.
Note: For referees under 18 years of age, only their name and role will be displayed. Email and phone information will remain hidden, even if referee contact info visibility is enabled.
