View Event History Changes for Games and Trainings

Full Admins, Schedulers, and Commissioners with scheduling permissions can view an event history log that tracks changes made to games and trainings. This log allows admins to monitor changes, resolve scheduling issues, and ensure adherence to organizational scheduling policies. The event history log will include timestamps of when changes were made, the user who made the change, and what was changed on the game or training, i.e., change of event date, time, duration, location/surface, etc.

Follow the steps below to view the event history for games and trainings:

Games

1. From the navigation, select Programs > choose your program and season > Scheduling > select Game Schedules from the Report drop-down.

2. Locate the game for which you want to view the event history and select the Edit Game Settings button.

3. In the Edit Game Event dialog box, click the Event History button.

4. Changes will be displayed chronologically, with the most recent change at the top.

Game Event History can also be viewed for upcoming games via the Teams Page. Click on the mini menu on the upcoming game and select Edit Game Event. Next, in the Edit Game Event dialog box, click the Event History button.

Trainings

1. From the navigation, select Programs > choose your program and season > Scheduling > select Training Schedules from the Report drop-down.

2. Locate the training for which you want to view the event history and select the Edit Training Event button.

3. In the Edit Training Event dialog box, click the Event History button.

4. Changes will be displayed in chronological order, with the most recent change at the top.

The following is a list of items that will be shown in the Event History Log for a game or training as updates are made to the event:

  • Timestamp of when the update was made

  • The user who made the update

  • What was changed in the update (including initial event creation)

  • Event date

  • Event time

  • Event duration

  • Event location > surface

  • Home team (or team for trainings)

  • Away team

  • Game score

  • Event description

Note: Event History tracking will begin from the date of this enhancement's release. Changes to games and trainings made before this release will not be included in the Event History for those events.
