How do I create a User Role that has Seasonal Grouping Permissions?

Use the built-in Seasonal Grouping Administrator template to create a role with the right permissions already set up. Adjust Manage or View access as needed to control which groupings, like age groups or divisions, a user can access within a season.

Seasonal Grouping Permissions control which groupings within a season a user can access. This lets you hand off management of specific age groups or divisions to designated users, without giving them full system access.

1. To create a user role with seasonal grouping permissions, from the navigation, select Settings > Permissions > Org Roles. Then you will find your list of roles. Click on Add New Role.

2. Select Seasonal Grouping Administrator from the Template Roles section.

3. Enter a Role Name.

4. The template for the Seasonal Grouping Admins already comes with pre-configured permissions, but you can adjust them to give the user more or less access.

  • Note: Manage lets users edit, add, and update within an area, while View gives read-only access.
