Define and Manage Team, Player, and Team Staff Status Values

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Full admins can create and manage custom seasonal status values for players, team staff, and teams across all clubs and/or competitions and seasons. Statuses can be defined per each organization’s policies and include options for custom iconography and color labels.

1. From the navigation, select Settings > Seasonal > Status Values.

2. First, select which category you want to manage or define statuses for: Players, Team Staff, or Teams using the Status dropdown.

3. To create a new status, click Add Status Value. Enter a name for the status, select a color, and choose an icon to accompany the status (optional). A complete icon reference library can be found at the link provided in the dialog box. Click Create once complete.

4. A list of statuses will be displayed on the seasonal status value page. Use the move icon to rearrange the order of the statuses. To edit a status, click on the edit icon, and to remove, click the delete icon.

5. Seasonal Statuses will appear as administrators are managing players, team staff, and teams throughout the season and can be seen on various report views, including but not limited to: Clubs > Seasonal Club Teams Report, Clubs > Player Pool Report, Registrations > Rostered Players, Registrations > Rostered Staff, Registrations > Participating Teams Report.

6. When choosing to edit existing statuses, there will be an option to update all players (staff/volunteers or teams) with the New Status Value, OR update to a Blank Status Value.

  • If choosing New Status Value: Any players, staff, or teams with the previous status will adopt the new modified value. This will include any changes to iconography and color.

  • If choosing Blank Status Value: Any players, staff, or teams with the previous status will not adopt the new modified status and return to a blank status. Those players, staff, or teams will need to have a new status defined for them.
