Organizations can set program-specific terminology when creating a program to ensure events and related roles use language that fits their needs. In Programs > Program Info > Program Terminology, Admins can select a non-game event label—Practice, Training, or Session, along with setting preferences for participant and staff terminology.
Newly created seasons within programs will also automatically apply sport-based terminology for players, team staff, and events, based on the selected sport.
The selected terminology will appear consistently system-wide on schedules, calendars, the OTTO SPORT Mobile App, emails, and more, while terminology for players and team staff will also appear in registration management and rosters. These changes only affect display language—not event behavior, permissions, or scheduling logic.
