Adding a delay can be useful when the integration only allows Edge to view check-in times for customers. If you would like the SMS to be sent after their service/appointment, we recommend adding a delay to the SMS flow.
To do this, go to the 'Settings' tab and 'SMS Settings' section. Edit the 'Default Customer Flow'. Continue to Step 2. Under 'Initial Text Message', you can select Delay Time from the dropdown. To complete the changes, please continue to Step 4 and 'Save Flow'.
If a 1 hour delay time is chosen, guests will receive the SMS 1 hour after their check-in time.
If the average time for services is around 2 hours, you can select a 2 hour or 3 hour delay.
