Which transactions count toward Scoreboard competitions?

Why aren’t some of my transactions showing?

To ensure fairness and consistency across all locations, competition tracking is based solely on eligible in-store transactions. In order for a transaction to count toward competition totals, it must be completed on the store’s Point of Sale (POS) system during an in-store visit.

This means that only transactions where the customer is physically present in the store and the sale is processed at the main register will be included in competition data.

This ensures that contributions are accurately reflected on the competition scoreboard, promoting transparency and fairness.

The following types of transactions are not eligible and will not be counted toward competition totals:

  • Kiosk orders: Transactions completed through self-service kiosks are excluded.

  • Online orders: Any purchases made through the online storefront or app are not eligible.

  • Online pick-up orders: Orders placed online and later picked up in-store do not qualify.

  • Pickup orders: Any transactions associated with pickup—including in-store pickup, or orders placed via kiosks or online for later pickup—are not eligible. Even if the customer adds items to their order during pickup, the transaction is categorized as a pickup order and will not contribute to the competition scoreboard.

This requirement exists because Edge tracks all competition data directly through the POS system. Only transactions processed through your location's in-store POS can be accurately recorded and attributed to the correct store and team members for competition purposes.

Orders placed through other channels, such as kiosks, online platforms, or pick-up services, are processed outside of the POS system that Edge uses for competition tracking. As a result, these transactions cannot be captured in Edge’s competition reports and will not count toward competition totals.

By requiring transactions to be completed on your location's POS system, the competition tracking remains precise, reliable, and standardized across all locations. This approach prevents discrepancies caused by orders processed through separate systems and ensures that all tracked transactions are consistent and verifiable.

Common Queries

Why didn’t my sale count toward the scoreboard? If your sale was a pickup order (including in-store or kiosk pickup), it is excluded from competition credit, even if additional items were added at the time of pickup.
