The Pending Invites page (accessible from My Tasks or from an alert on the Employee Management page above the leaderboard) is an action-oriented view for managing employee invites to Edge.
It includes:
Unverified Profiles (invite not yet sent)
Expired Invitations (invite sent, link expired)
Managers must verify the profile or resend an invite before employees can access Edge Employee app.
Pending Invites Page:
Purpose
Provide a centralized workspace for managing employee invites to the Edge Employee app.
Drive faster onboarding completion.
Ensure managers take required actions (verify details, resend invites, or remove outdated records).
Functional Description
1. Status
This page displays two statuses:
Unverified Profile
The employee was identified via POS.
An invite has NOT been sent yet.
Manager verification is required (confirm first name, last name, email).
Previously referred to as Pending Profiles / Incomplete Profiles.
Invite Expired
An invite was previously sent.
The employee did not complete onboarding within the timeframe.
The invite link is no longer valid.
Manager must resend the invite.
Important:
If an invite is sent and still active (but the employee hasn’t completed onboarding), that employee will appear in Employee Management under “Invite Sent” — not on this page.
2. Manage Actions
Actions vary by status.
For Invite Expired:
Remove Employee
Resend Invite – Send a new invite without editing details
For Unverified Profile:
Remove Employee
The Verify flow requires confirmation of:
First Name
Last Name
Email
Optional fields (phone, nickname, preferred first name)
Verification is required before an invite can be sent.
3. Filters
Users can filter by status:
Unverified Profile
Invite Expired
Metrics & Data
Pending Profiles under My Tasks/ alert on the Employee Management page above the leaderboard equals: Unverified Profiles + Invite Expired
Audience & Availability
Available to: All users of the Business App
Supported for both single-location and multi-location accounts
