Have your employees download the Edge app so they can stay up to date with communications from you, read their customer feedback, and cash out their earnings.
Be sure to collect phone numbers from your customers and store them in your point of sale (POS) so that Edge is able to send them an SMS after they leave your business.
Constantly remind your staff to verbally bring up Edge to shoppers as they are leaving. Here is a simple yet effective talk track:
"Hi <CustomerName>, thanks again for stopping by today. After you leave, you might get a text asking for feedback and if you mention me in a review online I earn a bonus!"
Be on the lookout for the weekly email update sent on Fridays to you so you can stay on top of the progress and communicate this with your team.
Print out collateral in a few high-traffic areas in your business that reminds everybody that if an Employee is mentioned in a review online, they earn a bonus. Keep your Edge Leaderboard Up to Date
Be sure to add employees to your Edge leaderboard as they are hired to your team!
When Employees are added, they will receive a welcome email from Edge, encouraging them to download the Edge app and what they can expect from Edge.
If there are unassigned mentions (see below where it says '1 Mention Needs your Attention') be sure to click through and assign any mentions that Edge wasn't able to match to an employee on your Leaderboard. You can find this by going to My Team > Employee Management.
Use the Activity Feed on Edge to Shoutout Your Team
Save the Activity Feed as a bookmark on your computer and like and comment on every post that is posted to the feed. This will serve as public acknowledgement to your team for their hard work and will create a positive feedback loop where they want to continue to get mentioned in reviews online.
Encourage your team to comment and like other posts as well.
