How Can I Manage My GBP Connection and Permissions?

The first step to connect your GMB to Edge is to log in here to confirm you have owner permissions for the location(s) under your account: Google Business Profile - Sign In

If you do, please log into business.ouredge.com and navigate to:

Account Settings > Click the GMB button or "Get Started" > Select the Gmail account that has owner/management permissions to the location(s) on Google Business

After taking these steps, you will see the connection status per location.

NOTE: It will take 24 hours for the connection to process before you or your management team can reply to reviews through Edge.


Once the connection is established, you can manage your team's permissions to reply to reviews by clicking the "Manage Permissions" button. From there, you can click into each manager and turn on their 'GMB Actions' permissions. Any manager wishing to respond to reviews will need this toggle turned on.

To check the connection status for each location, go to Settings > Account Settings > Click the GMB Box. Within this page, you can view all connection statuses for each location and establish a connection if there hasn't be one made.

You can also delete the entire GMB connection for all locations and reconnect afterwards by clicking "Connect All".

Additional Information:

1) If any locations do not connect, this might mean you do not have the proper permissions needed to the Google Business account. In this case, you can go to www.google.com/business to check your access or request access to the location. Once you receive access, you can try reconnecting through Edge.

2) If the Google Business access is separated amongst different accounts per location, please reach out to support@ouredge.com for additional assistance.

3) If a new location is added to the Edge account, a new GBP connection will need to be made.

4) If you go to Account Settings and receive a message stating you don't have permissions to view the page, contact support@ouredge.com so we can adjust your permissions.
